I came across this fab tweed jacket on the Littlewoods catalogue from plus size retailer, Ann Harvey. Coming in at a steep £120, this gorgeous jacket seems a snap compared to designer equivalent, Chanel. A jacket like this would look great with some wide leg jeans, a plain white tee and some pearls for that Chanel twist…
I also found this classiclt British beige mac, which I think every woman whatever her size should own. This timeless style is a copy of the famous Burberry Mac but is slightly cheaper at £95 than £900 for the original style capsule item.
Chanel Designer Karl Largerfeld outraged women all over the globe recently with his comments on German Magazine, Brigitte, banning super skinny models from its pages and opt for more ‘normal’ sized women.
“No one wants to see curvy women,” he was quoted as saying on the website of news magazine Focus.
“You’ve got fat mothers with their bags of chips sitting in front of the television and saying that thin models are ugly.”
The world of fashion was about “dreams and illusions”, he said, dismissing as “absurd” the debate prompted by Brigitte magazine which said it would no longer feature professional models on its pages.
Hello! Is this not the same guy that was once 92lbs heavier before embarking on a strict no carbs, no life diet! Thought I’d add these pictures and let me know what you think about his comments.
